About Project:

For Olde World Conservation, I developed a thoughtful, content-rich website dedicated to the craft of historic preservation: from documenting restoration of vintage buildings to exploring heritage materials and architectural history. The site serves as an educational and storytelling platform aimed at people who care about architecture, heritage, craftsmanship, and the stories built into old structures.

Project Objectives

  • Build an online home for sharing deep insights into historic-building restoration, preservation techniques, and heritage architecture storytelling.

  • Offer a visually appealing and readable layout that makes it easy for visitors to explore blog posts, restoration case studies, and personal narratives.

  • Provide a clean, user-friendly interface with easy navigation enabling visitors to browse “Stories”, “Tools & Reviews”, “Historic Projects”, and more.

  • Present content in a way that builds credibility and trust combining personal voice (the founder’s background and passion) with quality writing, real-world restoration insights and educational value.

What the Website Delivers

  • A modern, magazine-style layout that highlights featured stories, blogs, and case studies on historic preservation making navigation and reading easy and engaging.

  • A well-defined “About / Who’s This” page describing the founder’s background, the mission of the project, and the philosophy behind preserving architectural heritage giving the site a personal and authentic voice.

  • A section for tools, reviews, and practical advice for example, field reviews of preservation-related tools (like thermal imaging devices used in conservation diagnostics) — showing that this site combines theory and practice.

  • A friendly, community-oriented feel: the site invites readers to “join the journey to save the past” making it more than just a static portfolio, but a living platform for heritage-minded people.

What This Project Demonstrates About My Skills & Approach

This project highlights my capability to build content-heavy, niche-focused websites that:

  • Combine personal voice + professional presentation (important for heritage / storytelling platforms).

  • Handle rich content blog posts, case studies, historical narratives, reviews with clean layout, readability, and intuitive navigation.

  • Balance design, content strategy, and user experience to create a site that appeals both emotionally (heritage, storytelling) and practically (information, resources).

  • Respect the needs of a specialized audience heritage enthusiasts, preservation professionals, architects while remaining accessible to general visitors.
